Summary:
  • Responsible for supervision of the customer service staff; including scheduling, performance appraisals, work assignments, training, and continued education.
  • Performs all of the job responsibilities of the teller and customer service positions as needed.
  • Maintains and enforces customer service standards such as ensuring branch team members greet, address by name, smile and thank customers for their business.
  • Ensures branch has the most current product and rate information.
  • Assists employees with difficult customer transactions and inquiries.
  • Follows and enforces operational and security procedures for the branch.
  • Conducts bank-wide CSR meetings.
  • Responsible for prompt handling of customer face to face and phone inquiries.
  • Acts as an expert on bank products and services including deposit accounts, certificates of deposit and IRAs.
Education:High school diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelors degree in business recommended.
Experience:Previous banking experience, including opening and servicing of deposit accounts and experience conducting teller transactions. Supervisory experience preferred.

Starting as a part time teller when there were only three locations; now there are eight! Working my way up to full time teller, then Customer Service.
